Membership Benefits
Increase your industry knowledge at our Spring and Fall conferences
TUG members are invited to participate in two conferences each year each with their own specialty. The Spring conference focuses on operational aspects of the Trust Department and is great for new employees. Attendees can expect multiple tracks each focused on a particular operational topic. The Fall conference is an opportunity to be updated on broader topics across the banking and trust industry. Both conferences provide excellent opportunities to network with your peers and learn from small and large companies alike.
Provide insights on our Product Development Committee
The Product Development Committee (PDC) is composed of seven TUG member representatives and a vendor partner sponsor. We meet monthly to review Action Requests (ARs) submitted by users for possible future development and specs of items currently in development by our vendor partners. The team provides insight from the user perspective to ensure the programming will enhance processes that will become available for all users in future releases.
We may also reach out to submitters for clarification or help with processes/issues we have experience with, in which a solution or known workaround is already available within the trust accounting software.
Crowdsource questions and solutions on our HodgePodge Monthly Calls
HodgePodge is a monthly conference call open to all members of TUG where users can pose questions and discuss solutions with peers who may be facing similar challenges. The forum is open to a variety of topics including investments, administration, compliance, and operations. Join us each 4th Wednesday of the month at 3:00 PM ET. HodgePodge also hosts a live Q&A session at each conference.
Guide software development and participate in User Testing
TUG members are given the opportunity to participate in software user release testing prior to implementation. Participating users get an early preview of software releases and help guide the development of test plans and release documentation.
